Creme Egg Millionaires Shortbread

Easter can still help us, however, what kind of eggs in creams are in stores is something we will celebrate as long as it is sustainable. Now we've all seen the creamy egg cookies (something) we made and loved before. but we wanted to create something a bit unique, but it turned into a still tray. this is how we came up with the concept of shortbread millionaire Creme Egg, taking the traditional caramel business and changing the caramel with a few self-satisfied cream eggs by filling and making a chocolate base chocolate.
Multiple recipes at the online store bought fondant and mixed it with water or sugar syrup to create the usual egg-filling cream. We picked something special, exceptional, starting with a few vanilla beans. We are aware of the excess amount of butter and sugar in this recipe (we honestly do not claim to be healthy in any way), but if you plan on baking everything with cream eggs, you are not planning in any way what is healthy in the first area !! So if you are going to do it, do it right.
ingredients
For a short bread base

  • 250g plain flour
  • 60g of cocoa powder
  • 125g of icing sugar
  • 225g butter
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
For filling Creme Egg

  • 330g of golden syrup
  • 180g butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 750 g of icing sugar
  • yellow food coloring
  • 300g milk chocolate for the top
way
For a short bread base

  1. Coat with butter, then add the essence of sugar, salt and vanilla, stirring until combined.
  2. At low speed, add the flour and cocoa powder until the dough is combined.
  3. Form the mixture into a ball.
  4. Put the dough into a lined 9x12 "sheet and press it so that it evenly covers the base.
  5. Fork the entire surface with a fork
  6. Bake at 150 ° C for 25 - 30 min.
For filling Creme Egg

  1. Add butter, golden syrup, salt and vanilla extract to the pan and mix together until well combined.
  2. Then add the icing sugar, little by little, until everything is well mixed.
  3. Take about a third of the mixture and place in another bowl. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and mix until evenly browned. Add more colors to the desired yellow Creme Egg cream.
  4. Place a tablespoon of stuffing egg on top of the jam, making sure you mix the white and yellow together.
  5. Press down to keep the layer even.
  6. Melt the chocolate and pour over the top of the egg whipping, spreading so that it is evenly covered.
  7. Refrigerate for about an hour to set.
  8. Cut into squares.
  9. Based on a recipe from https://www.bakingamess.co.uk
